Susan K. really wanted to quit drinking…

Friday, November 6th, 2009

But, no matter how hard she tried, she just couldn’t make it happen. She didn’t feel good about herself that she was so controlled by alcohol. She felt that the guys she dated were mostly about drinking and partying. So many of them were guys she never would have gone out with in the past. And she just hated going to work every day with a hangover. It made the days so long!

Other areas of Susan’s life were good. She ate healthy foods. She tried to exercise, but, at the end of the day, when it was a choice between going to the gym and having a great dinner with a bottle of wine, who wouldn’t choose the latter? The problem was that she couldn’t stop at one or two drinks. She stopped when she passed out.

One morning, after a long trip to Denver for a mini-vacation in Aspen, her life totally changed. She was driving with her new boyfriend, Luke. They were having a ball drinking Vodka and singing Country Western tunes at the top of their lungs. She drove up a long hill, and then the Rocky Mountains appeared before her in all their grandeur. She had seen the Rockies before, but today, something was different. The impact of the beauty stunned her. The effect it had was almost unsettling.

And then it happened. A voice whispered into her ear and said, “You don’t have to do this anymore.” She looked around. She knew it wasn’t Luke. He was too out there.  But where did it come from? Then, she heard it again - YOU DON’T HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS ANYMORE! This time it was louder, more forceful. It was like a higher power sweeping down from the heavens to make her pay attention.

The voice was powerful, but soft at the same time. Tears ran down her cheeks. She didn’t know why it affected her like it did, but it hit her like a rock. Something had happened to her. The gig was up. She was done. It was time to start over.

And “start over” she did.  She went directly to an AA meeting in Aspen, and everything changed. The desire was gone. The craving was gone. Something inexplicable had happened and her life opened in ways that she could never have imagined.

What’s the point? When you claim Massive Abundance in your life, you can expect your life to change…because it will!

So don’t worry if you hear voices. You may not be going nuts. It just might be your Higher Self moving you to your next level. So step up to the plate, call forth your abundance, — your MASSIVE ABUNDANCE, — and be open to your new day.

Step 6 - Do What Prospers You

40’s Is The New 30’s?

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

How many times have you heard that?  As excerpted from a great article by Shane Kreider, you probably have heard that expression a lot.  And guess what, “From a financial viewpoint, it means our money has to last ten years longer, but we also have ten extra years to make it. It also means we have ten extra years to apply our entrepreneurial skills to make us happy.”

According to Shane, “The expression also has a scientific explanation. It’s a different way of looking at age - it’s not how long you’ve lived, it’s how long you’ve got left. As our expected life span gets longer, ‘middle age’ happens later; some say we are therefore in the same cycle of life at 40 that our parents were in at 30. And as our life span is supposed to continue to increase, middle age is coming later and later. Expected life span is different from country to country but in Germany, for example, scientists say that by 2050, middle age (for Germans) will begin around age 52.”

And there is also a great way to look at this and that is about the attitude you have.  Many of us refuse to buy into the idea of “getting older”.  I personally feel the same way now as I did at 30.  Maybe there are some bones cracking more often, but in my mind, I am 30.  I have another 50 years at least, to learn, grow, prosper and excel in all my life areas.

So as Shane says, “If you get out of bed some mornings feeling old, remember this: scientifically speaking, you’re actually ten years younger. Then have a good day.”

Steps 5 - Be Optimistic

Why Forgive Anyone, Damn Them All!?

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

firgivenessDo you really care to forgive that person/loved one who ruined your life?  You really should for your own health and happiness.  And Dr. Frederic Luskin explains how to do it with his Nine Steps to Forgiveness:

  1. Know exactly how you feel about what happened and be able to articulate what about the situation is not OK.  Then, tell a trusted couple of people about your experience and feelings.
  1. Make a commitment to yourself to do what you have to do to feel better.  Forgiveness is for you and not for anyone else.
  1. Forgiveness does not necessarily mean reconciliation with the person that hurt you, or condoning of their action.  What you are after is to find peace.  Forgiveness can be defined as the “peace and understanding that come from blaming that which has hurt you less, taking the life experience less personally, and changing your grievance story.”
  1. Get the right perspective on what is happening.  Recognize that your primary distress is coming from the hurt feelings, thoughts and physical upset you are suffering now, not what offended you or hurt you two minutes – or ten years – ago.  Forgiveness helps to heal those hurt feelings.
  1. At the moment you feel upset practice a simple stress management technique to soothe your body’s flight or fight response.
  1. Give up expecting things from other people, or your life, that they do not choose to give you.  Recognize the “unenforceable rules” you have for your health or how you or other people must behave.  Remind yourself that you can hope for health, love, peace and prosperity and work hard to get them.
  1. Put your energy into looking for another way to get your positive goals met than through the experience that has hurt you.  Instead of mentally replaying your hurt seek out new ways to get what you want.
  1. Remember that a life well lived is the best revenge.  Instead of focusing on your wounded feelings, and thereby giving the person who caused you pain power over you, learn to look for the love, beauty and kindness around you.  Forgiveness is about personal power.
  1. Amend your grievance story to remind you of the heroic choice to forgive and grow.

Now, don’ you feel better?

Step 6:  Do What Prospers You.

Don’t know if this will work for you…

todo…but it is working for me and I’m having lots of fun with it!

It’s my new “TO DO” list which includes each of my 5 life areas for that day. I put my activities in the categories of FINANCIAL, CAREER, FAMILY/SOCIAL, HEALTH, and SPIRITUAL.

So often, when I focus too much in one area, I forget my other life areas and then I get out of balance with my life. Often, I leave SPIRITUAL out of the mix and then I wonder why I am so crazy at times. So now I make sure that I give even 15 minutes for down time – listening to music, meditating, or thinking about what I have to be grateful for. That often takes care of that life area for me. Maybe you will want to do more.

Now that we are in early August, why not try this simple strategy and create your own simple form? The more that you write down your activities, the more you will be inclined to complete them.

MASSIVE ABUNDANCE is about staying balanced, prosperous, and away from stress. If you include all the areas in the life on a daily basis, you will have it all!

Do What Prospers You – Step 6

87% of our illnesses……are attributable to our thoughts.

Monday, July 27th, 2009

brainThe remaining 13% is due to diet, heredity, and the environment. Studies conclusively link more chronic diseases (also know as lifestyle diseases) to an epidemic of toxic emotions in our culture.”

This is a quote from Dr Caroline Leaf’s book,’ Who Switched Off My Brain?” Frightening, isn’t it? She talks about how toxic emotions can negatively affect the cells around our heart, which can lead to all kinds of heart diseases.

Richard Wiseman, another author, talks about how 90% of our luck is attributable to our thoughts. Once again, this is a big deal! If we haven’t been paying attention to what goes on in our mental world, then maybe we should start now.

I guess the best way to see what is going on in our thought life is too look at our outside world. What has our thinking created for us? Are you happy with the picture? If not, start to think differently. It only takes a second to see what you are thinking about. Why not carve out 20 seconds 5 to 6 times a day to stop and check out those thoughts? One of our clients started to do that and her world changed dramatically. She got a new job, found a new boyfriend, and is experiencing much more success in her world.

Final thought – When Jack Canfield, author of “Chicken Soup for the Soul,” was asked what it takes to be successful, he said this – “Let’s face it. We ultimately make our own luck. That’s all it really is.”

Let’s focus on our thinking and our luck and let’s move our life to even greater “massive abundance!” (And check out our free stuff on www.massiveabundanceinc.com).

Paint Your Passionate Picture – Step 1

Get Angry

Get Angry

If you don’t have enough cash coming in, then what are you doing about it? I don’t know if you believe in the Law of Cause and Effect, but that energy is there and the Universe will reward those out there to want it and claim to get it.

One of our clients, Michael, knew he needed to be more aggressive about making his financial life happen, but he didn’t think see himself as an assertive type. He did a lot of free talks, gave away his products, spent time with non prospects, and guess what? Money didn’t come in.  His relatives came to visit and he felt he had to spend the little money had on them to keep them happy. Although they stayed at his San Francisco flat for 3 weeks, used his car, and never offered to buy groceries, he just didn’t feel he could ask them to help pay for things.

Now Michael was self-employed. He was behind on his bills, his credit card debt was over his limit and he was 2 months late on his mortgage. And still, he continued to give it away.

If you claim what is yours, then the Universe will help claim it for you. If not, then it will just pass it along to someone else who really wants it.

Sound airy fairy? Check it out and see if it is true. Look at who is making the money out there and see why that is. Ask yourself if you are really going after it. And if not, why not?

Get angry. You are entitled to all the abundance the Universe can give you. It is yours for the asking. Step up to the plate and take.

Step 6 – Do What Prospers You

Affirm Your Way to a Massive Life!

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009

affirmationYou can will your way to great SEX, great money, great glory and great love!  Did you know that we all make affirmations in our mind all the time?  Affirmations are nothing more than a declaration to yourself or to others about something in your life.  Unfortunately, many times we are affirming something we don’t want (e.g., I am so fat, I am so depressed, I am not going to be successful, etc.).  They can be very powerful because they are the harbinger of what is to come in your life.  What will be in your life.  What you are planning in your life.  STOP the negative affirmations NOW!

Instead, make positive declarations now to yourself, positive affirmations about your life, your health, your relationships and your finances.  I am writing down 5 to 7 affirmations each morning to help my get my morning and my life on the right track.  What a wonderful way to begin each day with such reinforcements as “I am healthy beyond measure”, “I am excited about all the money coming to me this week”, “I am passionate about all the love coming to me”.  Use these each day to attract the good into your life.  You have heard of the “law attraction”; use affirmations to attract all the positive good you deserve for your life!

Step 3:  Make Room for the Magic

Don’t bother trying to please anyone…

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

sealofapprovalYou will never gain enough approval for you to get permission to be yourself.

PEOPLE PLEASERS UNITE! It is time to stop stressing yourselves about trying to get others to like you, to love you, to accept you, to approve of you, to respect you, to honor you, and everything else that you seem to want from them. You must go in your own direction, and the appropriate people will show up. It may not be today, or tomorrow, but in it’s massively abundance time, you will attract the people who can help you get where you want to be going.

Your job is to get clear about what your purpose is for your life and what you are here to do. The more definitive you are about your vision, the more you will see who is and who isn’t a part of that picture. (Step 1 – Paint Your Passionate Picture)

So many people are stressed out because they are either trying to make others conform to their ideal, or they are busy trying to conform to someone else’s ideal. Remember, everyone has an agenda for you – even your animals!

Check out the balance sheet. When you are doing more for someone than they are doing for you, then put your foot down and claim your power. The stress of shifting into your power will be difficult at first, because others want to keep control over you and they will get angry when you stand up for yourself. But the rewards will be worth it. You will ultimately feel an energy and lightness that will move you into your abundance. This is YOUR life. Step into it!

Step 6 – Do What Prospers You

Step 4 – Get Support

IF THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS STRESS…

Friday, June 5th, 2009

stress … Then, why the heck am I still taking Prozac? Well, some people, like author Dr. Robert Maurer, claims that that stress just doesn’t exist. Dr. Maurer is an Associate Clinical Professor at the UCLA School of Medicine and he talks a lot about KAIZEN, a process of taking small, trivial steps over time to master a goal, a skill, or an attitude.

Now, its’ not that he doesn’t believe in setting huge goals like we do; it’s just that he believes that, in order to reach those goals, it is helpful to take small steps regularly in order to get there. You know. It’s like the tortoise and the hare – remember who won that won?

So when it comes to managing stress in these uncertain times, we need to do the responsible things that will keep us on track — plan ahead, do reality checks with others, talk with professionals (accountant, etc.) review budgets, etc. And to do those things, Dr. Maurer suggests that we take small, trivial steps to handle those activities.

This process also works very well. It is our thinking process that is so much the source of our anxiety. So instead of obsessing about how you’ll never get hired again because you are over 50, you might allow yourself to consider the idea that some one might actually hire you! You might start saying to yourself that “there is a job for everyone –even 50 year-olds.” And then do nothing about it for a few days except to repeat that statement a couple of times each day. Then, on the 4th day, allow yourself 10 minutes to look online at just 1 job site to see what is available. Then several days later, select 1 job and send in your resume. Or maybe pick up the phone and call someone you might be able to help you. Remember – change your thinking, change your life!

One of my friends, Melissa, was scared to death that she was going to lose her apartment because she was at the end of her savings. Because her anxiety was so high, she couldn’t concentrate and her ability to make good decisions was impossible. So she started to tell herself every day that “Everything was going to be OK.” She didn’t believe it at first, but after a while, she started to feel better. She noticed that she was sleeping better and that her neck pains were going away. The more she focused on how things were going to get better, the less she thought about being thrown out into the street. Eventually, she was able to start taking small, trivial steps to make positive changes in her life. She got some friends to help her, and she was able to manage her difficulties successfully.

So we need to ask ourselves to what extent are we creating our own stress? Are you a believer in “abundance” or in “scarcity”? Do you trust that the Universe is “safe and nurturing” or is it an “unsafe place to be”? Why not consider the more optimistic approach and allow yourself those small, trivial steps to help you change your life. Keep your vision massive and do something every day to help you get there. You will be amazed at your results!

STEP 5 – BE OPTIMISTIC!

MONEY DOESN’T MAKE YOU HAPPY…

Monday, June 1st, 2009

…CERTAINTY DOES!

fearSo that’s what Daniel Gilbert said last week in Thursday’s Op-Ed section of the New York Times. Well, at first that was a mind blower for me, but when I thought more about it, it actually made a great deal of sense.Daniel backed up his article with a lot of good research. He started by reminding us of Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s famous line, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself,” during the Great Depression. And then he went on to say how psychologists and economists have conducted extensive research to show that the very rich are generally no happier than 99% of us. That is, of course, if you are not in the breadlines and worrying where your next meal is coming from. That is something else.

He then gives a number of examples of how the issue of “uncertainty” is what really makes people fearful. It is the anxiety of “not knowing” what is happening next that throws people into fear and depression. Think about it.

Daniel shared an experiment done by researchers in the Netherlands who gave subjects a series of 20 shocks. One group knew that they were going to get 20 intense shocks. The other group was going to get 20 shocks as well, but 17 were going to be mild and the other 3 were going to be intense. They just didn’t know WHEN they were going to get those intense shocks. The result was that the second group sweated more and had much more anxiety than the first group who knew they were always getting those intense shocks. The reason was this – people feel worse when something bad might occur than then something bad will occur.

So is he saying that we feel better when we know the truth rather than wondering about what might happen? And the answer is yes. Rather than waiting, in anxious anticipation, we would rather get the news, cry for a while, and then get on with doing whatever needs to happen next.

So how does that apply to Massive Abundance? Once we know the demon – in this case, uncertainty, then we can look forward to the outcome of what it is that concerns you, and know that we will be able to make the best of it, some way, some how.

Face your fears squarely, know that the right answers will come, and that you will be able to handle whatever comes in your path. That is Massive Abundance!

STEP 5 – BE OPTIMISTIC

Does Fear Motivate YOU?

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

SUVDo some of your fears scare the hell out of you? Are you freaked out by speaking in public, flying in airplanes or even work deadlines? As crazy as this sounds, fear is good for all of us. Fear is generated by the brain to motivate us. We WANT to be motivated by fear because this causes us to act. If we didn’t have fear, we would be running red lights with abandon.

The key is, how can we use and channel our fear to motivate us in all life areas? How do we use our crazy fears to push us, motivate us and get us to make our lives better? Yes, we want to push through our fears and stop letting them hold us back. I am personally fearful of enclosed places with a lot of people. But do I let this fear keep me from flying on airplanes? NO! I have used some techniques and breathing and other things to get my butt on that plane.

One technique we discuss a lot in our seminars is the use of Kaizen. Kaizen is the theory of a journey of 1,000 miles begins with the first step. It is taking baby steps toward a goal when you know there is a great fear holding you back. By taking small steps toward cutting out sugar from your diet or eating smaller portions, for example, it circumvents the fear factor in the brain to maybe reduce the sugar in your ice tea from 2 teaspoons to 1 and half teaspoons for a week. Reducing the sugar incrementally isn’t as fearful as cutting it out all together. If you can take these small steps in any area you want to change, then you’ll be more confident and more motivated to take bigger steps. And it is through these bigger steps that we all achieve breakthroughs! So you use you fear to motivate you to Massive Abundant things in your life!

Step 2; Activate Your Vision

Peg Knows

Wednesday, May 13th, 2009

SUVShe’s always right. She’s my mom and she was telling me on Mother’s Day how she gets herself to the gym almost every day.

Now this woman is 85, and wears a back brace due to her crippling scoliosis. She has had back surgery and a number of operations for gall bladder, hip surgery, and other reasons that I don’t even remember. She aches when she walks and has a hard time getting around.

So when I asked her how she can possibly get motivated to get out of the house to get over to the community gym, she said,

“Oh, that’s easy. I call Mabel.”

“But I thought Mabel was in worse shape than you
are?” I asked.

“Oh yes, she hurts all the time. But we both need to get
to that pool over there and move around because we
know that we will feel so much better if we go.”

“Would you get there without her?” I asked.

“Oh, I don’t think so,” she replied. “I need her to help me get me out of the house. That’s how we do it.”

Sometimes Moms know best. If she can get to the gym when she is decades older, then why can’t I?

STEP 4 – GET SUPPORT!

10 Surefire Ways to Dramatically Improve Your Real Estate Business!

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

SUVEver wonder why you haven’t been getting the results you wanted from your real estate business? Are you blaming the economy and the credit crisis? Or how about the fact that so many homes are under water right now? Or what about all those new loans are too hard to get for buyers? And then, of course, are the unemployed. Let’s face it – times are really tough right now. So what is a real estate agent supposed to do in these turbulent times?

If your answer to any of these questions is a resounding, “yes”, then here’s a question for you …Why is Christopher Stafford, an award winning broker in the San Francisco Bay Area, having an outstanding year? Why does he and his partner, Terry Wright, have over 40 listings right now? And how are they closing deals like crazy? When I asked him about the current United States real estate market, here’s what he said:

“What real estate market?”

“Well, Chris, you have to admit that these are terrible times for real estate agents,” I countered. “After all, look at the economy. It is a mess!”

“Well, there is no such thing as a US real estate market. All areas are different. Look at San Francisco compared to Stockton. Or how about Miami compared to Indianapolis? Besides, it is always changing. So what’s the problem?

“But, Chris,” I countered, “agents are starving out there. What can they do? After all, it isn’t their fault that times are bad. You can’t blame them. After all, this is the worst of times since the Great Depression!”

“Look, if people don’t want to take responsibility for their actions that is their choice. My business is working just fine and, I hate to sound insensitive, but we can’t worry about what’s ‘out there’. We need to be creative and find ways to make this situation for us. After all, this business is not rocket science. Agents should see what other successful agents are doing and them they should emulate them.”

“Like you, Christopher”, I laughed.

“Of course,” he smiled.

So this is how this we put together this special report. It ties into STEP 4 – GET SUPPORT, from our book, Massive Abundance – How to Create Passion, Purpose & Prosperity in Your Life. When we looked at the 7 Simple Steps to achieving massive abundance, we felt that this Step was crucial in helping others achieve their real estate goals.

So Chris and I came up with 10 key actions that we felt would make a huge difference in assisting you to GET SUPPORT in your business. If you follow these ideas, then there really is no limit to what you can accomplish. Here they are:

1. Work with your manager;

2. Get a business partner;

3. Participate in mastermind groups;

4. Hire a coach;

5. Do daily affirmations;

6. Listen to inspirational messages;

7. Share your goals with people who care;

8. Make use of your “Sphere of Influence”;

9. Build relationships with others in the business, and

10. Hang around positive people.

So start today and rocket your business out of the atmosphere!

STOP

Monday, April 27th, 2009

SUVNOW. This moment. Ask yourself — what were you thinking? What was going on in that brain of yours? Were you thinking about how you were moving forward with massive abundance in your life and how you were excited about what you were doing? Or were you thinking other things?

Were you thinking about that S.O.B. who ticked you off yesterday and how you are going to show him for what he did? Or what about your spouse or partner? Was it about that fight you had last night? Are you still upset about it? Or how about your kid? Were you obsessing about what you can do to keep him doing his homework?

Studies have shown that our daydreaming thoughts are very often negative and unproductive. We don’t notice them because we are so unconscious about what goes on in our head. And yet, it is these very thoughts that directly impact our very lives. They either keep us stuck in some horse manure of negativity, or they keep us out of the “merde” and into higher levels of vibration.

Do yourself a favor. Put a rubber band on your wrist, and throughout the day, when you notice it, take the rubber band and snap it against your wrist. At that very moment, stop thinking and see what was going on in your mind. If it is positive, then deliberately build on it. If it is a negative thought, take that thought, revise it to something more positive and see what begins to happen to your day.

Remember, Massive Abundance is all about living every moment with empowerment, personal responsibility, and joy. Change your thinking, change your life!

STEP 5 – BE OPTIMISTIC!

Ready to Dump the SUV?

Monday, April 20th, 2009

SUV What? You don’t want the Hybrid? Well, then what ARE you going to sacrifice in your life for Earth Day?

OK, if you’re still attached to that gas guzzler, then how about driving less, taking transit more, keeping it tuned up, joining a car pool?

But, wait a minute. What does Massive Abundance have to do with Earth Day? Why Massive Abundance is totally about Earth Day. It is about living your life consciously, with gratitude, appreciation, and joy in all areas of your life. It is about living your life to the fullest — by using your gifts, your talents, and your skills to become the person that you were created to be.

It is not about celebrating one day in a year. It is about being environmentally conscious every single day of your life! It is about noticing everything around you and having a deeper reverence for our planet. It is about deciding how you can help to save our earth.
Most people think that Massive Abundance is about making money and learning how to get rich. But it is so much more than that. MA is about celebrating the beauty of life in every thought, word, and deed. It is about experiencing love not hate. It is about giving rather than taking. It is about sharing, not hoarding. It is about raising your consciousness in every area of your life – including your environmental life!

And remember to go organic. Plant a garden, buy locally grown food, or plant a tree. Don’t waste anything – your food, your purchases. Recycle when you can. Don’t throw things out. Sell, trade, or give things away.
Continually raise your consciousness in all areas of your life. Let every breath, every thought, and every feeling, take you to a higher level in your life. Choose abundance – massive abundance – and not only will you save the planet, you will claim your life!

Step 7 – Keep It Circulating

DON’T PLAY FAIR

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

Therapist Want to ruin every relationship you have? Then just play fair.
Dr. Henry Cloud, a well known author and psychologist, claims that this idea is absolutely critical to all types of partnerships – business, marriages, etc. Here’s how it works:

Let’s say that you and your spouse go to counseling because you just don’t get along. You are fighting all the time and nothing gets resolved. You both believe in “tit for tat”. If you are nice to me, I will be nice to you. If you say something mean to me, then I will say something mean to you. If you say you love me, then I will say I love you too. Sound familiar? Well, this works fine until the communication breaks down, then nothing gets resolved.

So here is what you can do. Just GIVE MORE! Suppose you are sick and tired of always being the mature one. It’s time that he steps up to the plate. You have spent the last 6 weeks always being nice and because you have been nice, he’s been nice as well. Then something goes haywire, and he blows up. And then you blow up as well, since he broke the “being nice” contract. Then you are off to the races again.

Since you might be the more mature one – in this instance – then the responsibility is on you to give more. It is not about who is right or wrong, it is about getting the relationship to a higher level where you can get issues resolved and you can move forward.

Ask yourself what can be done to fix this? How can we improve that? Get beyond your own need. There may be a time when you aren’t able to be at that level and your partner might step in. Unmet needs create frustration, and if both parties have unmet needs simultaneously, then nothing gets resolved.

Sometimes we like “tit for tat” because it implies predictability in relationships. But that is really codependent and can lead to disastrous results. Instead of doing what you might normally do in responding – blame, argue, point fingers – do the opposite. Don’t withdraw, get closer. Don’t disagree, agree. Before you know it, the issue will go away and the two of you can move on to a more healthy, interdependent relationship.

Step 7 – Give Back

Good Friday or Bad Friday?

Friday, April 10th, 2009

bunnyCelebrating a holiday this weekend? Easter? Passover? Neither? If it is neither, maybe you can take a minute or two and think about everything that you are grateful for in your life. For you non-religious types, you probably have a spiritual connection to something - to the Universe, to God, to yourself, to your Higher Power, etc. Whatever it is, think about something greater and bigger than you!

Think about your Spiritual Life Area, and ask yourself what you are doing, thinking, and feeling in order to become a better, stronger, and more enlightened person. What about the 95 year-old neighbor next door who has no family and could use a visit? How about your teenage kid who needs some extra hugs? How about your spouse, lover, partner who needs an apology? Let go of anger. Focus on love.

This is a very important weekend for some of the world’s greatest religions. Why not consider a little prayer of gratitude or meditation to strengthen your spiritual consciousness? Get outside of yourself. Do something for someone else. It will always do something for you!

Albert Wasn’t Smart for Nothin’

Friday, April 3rd, 2009

einstein-picAlbert who you ask? Why Albert Einstein of course! It was Albert Einstein who once said that Imagination is more important than knowledge”.

Now what does that mean to us? It means this - do not accept anything as fact in your outside world if it does not conform to the vision that you would like to see happen!

Setbacks, disappointments, distractions, failures - anything that appears as though your dreams are not going to come true- are only what they may be - setbacks, disappointments, etc. You can CHOOSE to refuse what you are seeing. Your senses aren’t what matter. What matters is what you are feeling and what your imagination is telling you. Stay with those feeling and your imagination because that is what comes from the DIVINE!

Listen, if Albert said it, it’s GOT to be true!

Why Work When Others Can Do it for You?

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009

va-picWhat if you could find someone to do your work for you for almost nothing?  Wouldn’t that be great!?   Well it is possible with VA’s or “virtual assistants”.  What is a VA?  A VA is usually a self-employed professional who can provide office and administrative support to businesses remotely via email, telephone, fax or post.  Because they work remotely they can provide secretarial and business support to individuals and companies located anywhere in the world.  In addition, services can include business planning, web design, date entry, spreadsheets, invoicing… you name it.  Whatever doesn’t require their physical presence, they can do it.  And they can do it for anywhere from $7 to $30 per hour, which is almost nothing in today’s day and age.  They can be in India or anywhere in the world.  They are a great way to leverage your time.  They are easy to search and to find.   So check them out and start leveraging your time today!
