Successful Presentation Skills
Successful Presentation Skills, is designed for all personnel who are interested in improving their overall skills in making business presentations. This program includes the requisite skills for making effective and dynamic presentations.
Three major skill areas are included in this program. The first content area is that of the presentation skills themselves. This includes use of eye contact, body movements and hand gestures, how to manage nervousness, audience control techniques, and how to handle questions and answers.
The second area of emphasis includes the preparation/organization format. Numerous organizational formats are introduced during this fast-moving program, and participants are given time to practice the use of such formats. Business presentations will be made just like the presentations made on the job. Constructive feedback will be provided so that the improvement areas can be reinforced in the following presentations.
The third area of focus in this program is the use of and handling of effective visual aids. Several techniques will be introduced during the program by which participants can build on their skills in this area. For those participants who will using the Power Point software, reinforcement skills in this important area of use of visuals will be taught.
Because participants will be making 6 presentations in a 2-day period, this program is focused on the learn-apply-learn method, whereby mini-lectures will be made by the training consultant. The bulk of the program is based on skill development and practice.
