Expectations

Friday, November 27th, 2009

As enter into the holiday season, we want to watch out for getting “stressed out” and not enjoying ourselves during this special time. Sometimes, when getting together with friends and relatives, control issues and expectations may surface and, in order not to get thrown off from our joyful state of mind, we want to stay intentionally focused in all that we do.

Stay aware of your feelings and don’t let others control how you choose to think or feel in any circumstance. Don’t give your power away so that it negatively affects your mood. Since this is the time of THANKSgiving, let’s do everything we can to remain joyful and in a spirit of gratitude.

Do your best to live in the NOW and don’t worry about what happened last year at the dinner table, or what may happen when Uncle Bill shows up this year. Don’t waste your time on thoughts that make you unhappy. Find ways to keep feeling better and better. (Step 6 - DO WHAT PROSPERS YOU.)

Live “massively” and “abundantly” during this time of Thanksgiving!

Your friends,

Susan K. really wanted to quit drinking…

Friday, November 6th, 2009

But, no matter how hard she tried, she just couldn’t make it happen. She didn’t feel good about herself that she was so controlled by alcohol. She felt that the guys she dated were mostly about drinking and partying. So many of them were guys she never would have gone out with in the past. And she just hated going to work every day with a hangover. It made the days so long!

Other areas of Susan’s life were good. She ate healthy foods. She tried to exercise, but, at the end of the day, when it was a choice between going to the gym and having a great dinner with a bottle of wine, who wouldn’t choose the latter? The problem was that she couldn’t stop at one or two drinks. She stopped when she passed out.

One morning, after a long trip to Denver for a mini-vacation in Aspen, her life totally changed. She was driving with her new boyfriend, Luke. They were having a ball drinking Vodka and singing Country Western tunes at the top of their lungs. She drove up a long hill, and then the Rocky Mountains appeared before her in all their grandeur. She had seen the Rockies before, but today, something was different. The impact of the beauty stunned her. The effect it had was almost unsettling.

And then it happened. A voice whispered into her ear and said, “You don’t have to do this anymore.” She looked around. She knew it wasn’t Luke. He was too out there.  But where did it come from? Then, she heard it again - YOU DON’T HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS ANYMORE! This time it was louder, more forceful. It was like a higher power sweeping down from the heavens to make her pay attention.

The voice was powerful, but soft at the same time. Tears ran down her cheeks. She didn’t know why it affected her like it did, but it hit her like a rock. Something had happened to her. The gig was up. She was done. It was time to start over.

And “start over” she did.  She went directly to an AA meeting in Aspen, and everything changed. The desire was gone. The craving was gone. Something inexplicable had happened and her life opened in ways that she could never have imagined.

What’s the point? When you claim Massive Abundance in your life, you can expect your life to change…because it will!

So don’t worry if you hear voices. You may not be going nuts. It just might be your Higher Self moving you to your next level. So step up to the plate, call forth your abundance, — your MASSIVE ABUNDANCE, — and be open to your new day.

Step 6 - Do What Prospers You

40’s Is The New 30’s?

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

How many times have you heard that?  As excerpted from a great article by Shane Kreider, you probably have heard that expression a lot.  And guess what, “From a financial viewpoint, it means our money has to last ten years longer, but we also have ten extra years to make it. It also means we have ten extra years to apply our entrepreneurial skills to make us happy.”

According to Shane, “The expression also has a scientific explanation. It’s a different way of looking at age - it’s not how long you’ve lived, it’s how long you’ve got left. As our expected life span gets longer, ‘middle age’ happens later; some say we are therefore in the same cycle of life at 40 that our parents were in at 30. And as our life span is supposed to continue to increase, middle age is coming later and later. Expected life span is different from country to country but in Germany, for example, scientists say that by 2050, middle age (for Germans) will begin around age 52.”

And there is also a great way to look at this and that is about the attitude you have.  Many of us refuse to buy into the idea of “getting older”.  I personally feel the same way now as I did at 30.  Maybe there are some bones cracking more often, but in my mind, I am 30.  I have another 50 years at least, to learn, grow, prosper and excel in all my life areas.

So as Shane says, “If you get out of bed some mornings feeling old, remember this: scientifically speaking, you’re actually ten years younger. Then have a good day.”

Steps 5 - Be Optimistic

WHY ARE YOU A BAD MANIFESTOR?

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

Are you not getting the love you want?  If you know the Law of Attraction and you are doing everything you should be to bring this into your life, maybe it’s because your belief is not strong enough.  According to Dr. Debra Betterly, here are some possible mistakes you could be making:

  • You’re trying too hard. (creating resistance)
  • You’ve gotten really attached to the outcome.
  • You’ve made the desire so big you don’t believe it’s possible.
  • You’re not paying attention to how you really feel.
  • You are not trusting the Universe.
  • You’re still playing the victim game (blaming, complaining or justifying about why it isn’t here yet)
  • All of the above.

So don’t worry about it so much.  As Dr. Betterly says, “Can you just let it be ok that your big “want” hasn’t shown up yet?  You know that it will, but its fine that it hasn’t…yet.  The goal is to stop alternating between vibrating it and resisting it, to stop vacillating between belief and doubt.  It’s like you are trying to drive with the brake on and not getting anywhere!”

So take Dr. Betterly’s advice and use her suggestions below:

  1.  Check in with where your thoughts being directed to.  Are you directing your energy to what you want or what you don’t want?  For example, you may want more than enough money to pay for all of your monthly expenses, but you are thinking (and vibrating) more about not wanting to come up short this month.
  2. How often are you getting into the “feeling” place of having what you want?  Keep yourself hyped up about it!  Talk about it, write about it, sing about it, and visualize about it until you are feeling that certain “buzz” about it and do this every day!   Here’s a clue, sixteen seconds is all that it really takes so don’t make this hard!  Have fun and see how much longer than sixteen second you can extend that “buzz” (confident, happy, relaxed and excited about your want already being true) to!
  3. Sit back and relax, the Universe will bring you your big want in the appropriate time for you to derive from it all that you desire.  The Law of Attraction is never inconsistent-it works all the time, no matter what!  Go from believing to the level of knowing it is on its way to you!
  4. Now that you are relaxed and in that vibration of knowing it’s already done-the Universe is on it, so let it go and go out and have some fun today!  Be grateful, live it, and allow it and it will be in your life before you know it-providing you are keeping your focus off its absence!

This is such great advice, so take it to heart and work the Law of Attraction properly!

STEP 3 - MAKE ROOM FOR THE MAGIC!

“YOU WILL NEVER REGRET DOING WHAT IS RIGHT!”

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

You want Massive Abundance? Then you must follow the quote above.

I was meeting with one of my clients this week in Scottsdale, AZ and found this quote in one of her books by Cynthia Heald, an author and teacher, mostly in the field of Christian literature. Her path to MA (Massive Abundance) is by following the teachings of Jesus and always living with truth and integrity.

Now walking in the steps of Jesus may not be your path to MA, but for Barbara, my client, this is what has given her great peace, joy, and tremendous personal success. Her external world has manifested great prosperity. Her 8,000 sq ft. Mediterranean villa home is one of the myriad examples of her worldly success. She always asks herself what would Jesus do when making any decision, and she rarely goes wrong.

So it got me wondering what it is that others do that guarantees them the path of “doing what is right”, when confronted with difficult choices in their lives. When we talk about MA, so often we focus on worldly success. We read self-help books. We set ambitious goals. We do everything we can do to CONTROL our environments. And, in spite of our efforts, success often eludes.

So when we ask our clients who it is that they emulate, we remind them that it doesn’t always have to be those who have achieved great material success. Maybe it is the teachings of a great spiritual leader like Jesus, Ghandi, or a yogi master.

Barbara told me about one of her friends who had an extra-marital affair, and, as a result, she lost everything. She lost her marriage, her children, her assets, and her self-respect. She had believed totally in MA - such that she felt “entitled” to having a life filled with fun, excitement, and abundance. What happened was that she did what was going to bring HER pleasure without thinking about how others might be affected.

She lied to everyone until she got caught. She became “as sick as her secrets” - as they say in Alcoholics Anonymous. And part of her dilemma was that, during the affair, she had great anxiety and didn’t know who what was right. She had been totally bored in her marriage and decided that the best route to take was the affair.

The question to ask is whether or not she would have made this choice if she had some spiritual and emotional grounding that would keep her centered throughout her marriage difficulties.. Perhaps the outcome might have been different.

Now you don’t have to have Jesus as your savior. It doesn’t have to be Ghandi either. However, it is important to have some higher power of some sort to keep you grounded and on track in your life. Find moments of meditation and/or prayer to get closer to your source. The closer you get, the doors to MA will open dramatically for you. Stay with your dream, your vision and your goals. Just remember to stay close to the source that inspires you and holds you to a higher standard. That source will lead you to your next level, and you will be amazed at the results.

STEP 3 - MAKE ROOM FOR THE MAGIC!

Are You Realizing Your Dreams?

Friday, September 25th, 2009

We just love this by Peggy McColl………………

A Dream Realized

I feel certain that when my classmates compiled our high school yearbook, nobody suggested that I be voted most likely to become a successful, bestselling author. To those who knew me then, my achievements as an adult are probably a bit of a surprise. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that our intention, propelled by our positive emotions, can make any dream a reality.

In the early 2000’s, I set a goal to be a New York Times bestselling author. To me, that symbolized a pinnacle of success. I had spent countless hours learning about personal growth and self-discovery, enjoyed a career in the technology industry, and had transitioned into a new career as a seminar leader, speaker and mentor. I loved helping people formulate and achieve their goals and wanted to communicate my ideas in a way that would uplift and inspire people all over the world.

I didn’t grow up wanting to be an author. In fact, I’ve often heard interviews with authors who talk about loving their English class in school and how they enjoy writing stories and have always known they wanted to be a writer, but that isn’t me at all. When I first wrote down my ambitious goal of becoming a bestselling author, I immediately thought to myself: “Yeah right, Peggy!” I had little formal education and no idea how to write a book or create a bestseller. I didn’t know anyone in the publishing business or anyone who marketed books. With no clue how to achieve my goal, I just planted a seed and opened myself up to whatever opportunities came my way.

I could have dwelled on all the reasons someone like me couldn’t become a New York Times bestselling author. Instead, I discarded those negative thoughts about reaching such a lofty, even seemingly impossible goal. That’s where many people can get stuck. They think, “That’s something I’d really like to have,” but then, BOOM, up come 101 reasons why they can’t get it. They don’t know how to get from where they are to where they want to be, become frustrated and lost, then let the fire of their passion subside, and the dream dies. Looking back, they’ll sigh and say, “I guess it just wasn’t meant to be.”

As unrealistic as my goal might have seemed to others, I held on to the belief that we don’t need to know how something is going to manifest, we just have to trust that it will.

Our intention, coupled with strong feelings of curiosity, enthusiasm, and faith, takes us from seed to flower, and becomes the driving force of achieving or attracting anything.

Our job is simply to identify what we want and then begin generating the emotions we’d feel if our dream had already come true. For me, that meant using my imagination to create the emotional experience of being a bestselling author. I had to act as if my name and book title were already on that prestigious New York Times list. I planted the seed of my intention, then watered and nurtured it with my feelings, thoughts, and actions.

My enthusiasm propelled me into action, and I began to create a file of ideas. It occurred to me to try to figure out the ingredients of a successful book, so I went to my bookshelf, took down books I’d really loved and been moved by, and skimmed them to see how they were organized and what elements had made them such excellent guides. I went on to study more bestselling books and soon I had clarity about how I would go about presenting my thoughts.

All the while, I was constantly visualizing my bestselling author experience. Actually, “visualizing” doesn’t quite capture the intensity of what I was doing. I truly lived the experience, heart and soul. One day, it occurred to me that if I wanted to achieve my goal, I was going to have to be extremely persistent, like a dog holding on to a bone that someone wants to take away.

I can’t say that the writing flowed easily. It was very hard work at times, but I stuck to my plan and sat down at that computer even when I was feeling a little nervous or insecure. I told myself, “I’ll just expand on my ideas and see where they go.” I thought positively, generated a feeling of confidence and excitement, and started typing away.

At last, I’d completed my first manuscript. One book lead to another book and in my quest to become an author, at first, I chose to self publish my books. However, to become a New York Times bestselling author, I needed to find a Publisher.

During this whole process, I continued being a student. From what I’ve found, successful people are all on a lifelong path of learning and constantly improving themselves.

When I came up with the concept for Your Destiny Switch, I felt it was very important for me to promote the message of the book: that the power of our emotions is what allows us to reach our goals.

I’d found a literary agent through a business associate, and she sold Your Destiny Switch to a large publisher, Hay House. I decided that this was the book that was going to be on the New York Times bestseller list.

To make this happen, I used a primary strategy of online marketing. I specifically lined up promotional activities for the week that the book would be launching and available on shelves in bookstores as well as online. I prepared a massive internet marketing campaign, joyfully watched my book climb to the top of the Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com bestseller lists the week of the launch, and was elated a few days later when my agent, Cathy, called to tell me that the book had hit the New York Times bestseller list.  And on the very first week of release! (Note: When your book reaches the list, it doesn’t actually appear until a couple of weeks later.)

I remember jumping up and down like I was on a pogo stick, feeling absolutely exhilarated. While I was tingling with excitement, I was also thinking, “You know, this is exactly what I knew it would be like.” The feeling was very familiar.

You see, I’d been experiencing this excitement for years, every time I envisioned myself having already achieved my goal, whether I was feeling the emotion during the call from my agent or reading my affirmations and expressing my joy and gratitude that I was a New York Times bestselling author. The Universe had answered my intention with the very situation I’d imagined. It was magical.

Our thoughts, feelings, and actions have tremendous power. We can tap into positivity at any moment we choose and begin to shift our energy, sending a clear message that we’re ready and eager to receive all that we desire. The intensity of our emotions, and the ease with which we can switch them, is what Your Destiny Switch is all about.

I would love to go to the top of the highest mountain and scream this out so that everyone in the world could hear me: “You don’t have to know how you will achieve your dream.  Set the dream and feel the elation of achieving it and it will happen!” Each day, I’m inspired to spread the word that we all can use the rocket fuel of positive emotions to make our dreams come true. The Universe always answers the clear call of our intention.

Don’t Start Anything Now!

Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

Cause the astrologers say that “Mercury is Retrograde”!  So I have been told that this is a good time to contact people, prospects, friends, and associates from the past and not to start new projects and events. We are better off to clean up projects, activities, and plans from the past rather than start new events.

The planet, Mercury, represents communication and 3 times a year it goes retrograde. This means that although it is moving forward, it appears as though it is going backward. So beware of anything that has to do with communication - contracts, agreements - anything in writing, because you may have to redo them.

So this is the time for the RE’s - re-view, re-do, re-group, re-search, re-evaluate, re-establish, re-invent, etc. This may not be the best time to launch a new business, accept a job offer, or begin a new relationship. And if it has to happen now, just be aware that you may have to RE-DO some aspects of it or find it fraught with difficulties.

I don’t know how I always feel about this stuff - it feels to me like a self-fulfilling prophesy at times - but I have seen lots happen during this time. My niece’s flight got cancelled, the buyer changed his mind last minute about the house, the job offer contained hidden requirements, etc. Whatever it may or not mean to you, just be open to this time period of September 6 - 29th

And if things go wrong, blame it on Mercury!

John found out the hard way……that failure is a state of mind.

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

failureJohn was a brilliant engineer and inventor.  His company, a start-up in Silicon Valley hired him to create a semi-conductor product that would significantly beat the competition. He had been a super star inventor at another company in a different industry and the new company figured he could create great things for them as well.

There was a problem, however.  He had done so well with his former company, that when it was time to perform in his new job, he seemed to have lost his edge. He thought that the answers were going to come as easily as they had before, and they hadn’t. His new ideas were met with resistance from the owners. Nobody liked what he came up with, and he, too, realized that what he was coming up with was just no good.

So what did he do? He quit trying. Oh, he kept working at his job, but he began to settle. The other engineers in the department kept working at creating new products, and soon, they outperformed John. John just watched them move ahead as he resented their success. He lost interest. His passion was gone.

Let’s face it — Life is a challenge. Life isn’t about winning. Life is about growth. When we are constantly working with our talents and strengths, we are growing. We go to the gym to make our bodies strong. We take classes to exercise our minds. We practice our skills over and over again in order to get better. When we realize that all growth opportunities are within ourselves, then we never need accept defeat.

“Failure is a state of mind,” says U.S. Anderson, author of the great book, The Magic In Your Mind. So what if you’ve sent in 100 job resumes and you’ve gotten rejected 100 times? Send another 100, but this time change something. So what if you are on your 10th relationship and it still isn’t working? Figure out what hasn’t worked and change yourself for the next one.

Don’t worry about your present life. If you don’t like it, find a way to change it. Just keep growing. That, ultimately, is what life is all about!

Step 5 – Do What Prospers You!

Why Forgive Anyone, Damn Them All!?

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

firgivenessDo you really care to forgive that person/loved one who ruined your life?  You really should for your own health and happiness.  And Dr. Frederic Luskin explains how to do it with his Nine Steps to Forgiveness:

  1. Know exactly how you feel about what happened and be able to articulate what about the situation is not OK.  Then, tell a trusted couple of people about your experience and feelings.
  1. Make a commitment to yourself to do what you have to do to feel better.  Forgiveness is for you and not for anyone else.
  1. Forgiveness does not necessarily mean reconciliation with the person that hurt you, or condoning of their action.  What you are after is to find peace.  Forgiveness can be defined as the “peace and understanding that come from blaming that which has hurt you less, taking the life experience less personally, and changing your grievance story.”
  1. Get the right perspective on what is happening.  Recognize that your primary distress is coming from the hurt feelings, thoughts and physical upset you are suffering now, not what offended you or hurt you two minutes – or ten years – ago.  Forgiveness helps to heal those hurt feelings.
  1. At the moment you feel upset practice a simple stress management technique to soothe your body’s flight or fight response.
  1. Give up expecting things from other people, or your life, that they do not choose to give you.  Recognize the “unenforceable rules” you have for your health or how you or other people must behave.  Remind yourself that you can hope for health, love, peace and prosperity and work hard to get them.
  1. Put your energy into looking for another way to get your positive goals met than through the experience that has hurt you.  Instead of mentally replaying your hurt seek out new ways to get what you want.
  1. Remember that a life well lived is the best revenge.  Instead of focusing on your wounded feelings, and thereby giving the person who caused you pain power over you, learn to look for the love, beauty and kindness around you.  Forgiveness is about personal power.
  1. Amend your grievance story to remind you of the heroic choice to forgive and grow.

Now, don’ you feel better?

Step 6:  Do What Prospers You.

Don’t know if this will work for you…

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

todo…but it is working for me and I’m having lots of fun with it!

It’s my new “TO DO” list which includes each of my 5 life areas for that day. I put my activities in the categories of FINANCIAL, CAREER, FAMILY/SOCIAL, HEALTH, and SPIRITUAL.

So often, when I focus too much in one area, I forget my other life areas and then I get out of balance with my life. Often, I leave SPIRITUAL out of the mix and then I wonder why I am so crazy at times. So now I make sure that I give even 15 minutes for down time – listening to music, meditating, or thinking about what I have to be grateful for. That often takes care of that life area for me. Maybe you will want to do more.

Now that we are in early August, why not try this simple strategy and create your own simple form? The more that you write down your activities, the more you will be inclined to complete them.

MASSIVE ABUNDANCE is about staying balanced, prosperous, and away from stress. If you include all the areas in the life on a daily basis, you will have it all!

87% of our illnesses……are attributable to our thoughts.

Monday, July 27th, 2009

brainThe remaining 13% is due to diet, heredity, and the environment. Studies conclusively link more chronic diseases (also know as lifestyle diseases) to an epidemic of toxic emotions in our culture.”

This is a quote from Dr Caroline Leaf’s book,’ Who Switched Off My Brain?” Frightening, isn’t it? She talks about how toxic emotions can negatively affect the cells around our heart, which can lead to all kinds of heart diseases.

Richard Wiseman, another author, talks about how 90% of our luck is attributable to our thoughts. Once again, this is a big deal! If we haven’t been paying attention to what goes on in our mental world, then maybe we should start now.

I guess the best way to see what is going on in our thought life is too look at our outside world. What has our thinking created for us? Are you happy with the picture? If not, start to think differently. It only takes a second to see what you are thinking about. Why not carve out 20 seconds 5 to 6 times a day to stop and check out those thoughts? One of our clients started to do that and her world changed dramatically. She got a new job, found a new boyfriend, and is experiencing much more success in her world.

Final thought – When Jack Canfield, author of “Chicken Soup for the Soul,” was asked what it takes to be successful, he said this – “Let’s face it. We ultimately make our own luck. That’s all it really is.”

Let’s focus on our thinking and our luck and let’s move our life to even greater “massive abundance!” (And check out our free stuff on www.massiveabundanceinc.com).

Get Angry

Get Angry

If you don’t have enough cash coming in, then what are you doing about it? I don’t know if you believe in the Law of Cause and Effect, but that energy is there and the Universe will reward those out there to want it and claim to get it.

One of our clients, Michael, knew he needed to be more aggressive about making his financial life happen, but he didn’t think see himself as an assertive type. He did a lot of free talks, gave away his products, spent time with non prospects, and guess what? Money didn’t come in.  His relatives came to visit and he felt he had to spend the little money had on them to keep them happy. Although they stayed at his San Francisco flat for 3 weeks, used his car, and never offered to buy groceries, he just didn’t feel he could ask them to help pay for things.

Now Michael was self-employed. He was behind on his bills, his credit card debt was over his limit and he was 2 months late on his mortgage. And still, he continued to give it away.

If you claim what is yours, then the Universe will help claim it for you. If not, then it will just pass it along to someone else who really wants it.

Sound airy fairy? Check it out and see if it is true. Look at who is making the money out there and see why that is. Ask yourself if you are really going after it. And if not, why not?

Get angry. You are entitled to all the abundance the Universe can give you. It is yours for the asking. Step up to the plate and take.

What Do Barack Obama and Deborah Jenkins Have in Common?

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

martha21

What do a black president and a white motivational coach have in common?   I was at the gym this morning and watching Mr. Obama give a speech on the economy when his teleprompter crashed to the floor.  He was very cool and calm and just continued on with his address.  And it dawned on me that Deborah and Barack are very similar in their PASSION for change.  Barack’s passion is to change this country for the better and that comes our in all he does.  And Deborah’s passion for changing the lives of people is so real and tangible; you can see it in her actions and conversations with our community members and clients.  She really really wants to see others succeed and follow the principles of the 7 steps to Massive Abundance.

Another of her passions is her celebrity impersonations.  Her portrayal of Martha Stewart is beyond compare.   Companies fly her all over to attend trade shows and company events.  She loves it, she embraces it and she puts her all into it.  It is one of her passions which comes shining through when she speaks of it.  Just like Mr. Obama and his passion for the U.S.

So FIND your passion, FEEL your passion and NEVER let that feeling die!

Affirm Your Way to a Massive Life!

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009

affirmationYou can will your way to great SEX, great money, great glory and great love!  Did you know that we all make affirmations in our mind all the time?  Affirmations are nothing more than a declaration to yourself or to others about something in your life.  Unfortunately, many times we are affirming something we don’t want (e.g., I am so fat, I am so depressed, I am not going to be successful, etc.).  They can be very powerful because they are the harbinger of what is to come in your life.  What will be in your life.  What you are planning in your life.  STOP the negative affirmations NOW!

Instead, make positive declarations now to yourself, positive affirmations about your life, your health, your relationships and your finances.  I am writing down 5 to 7 affirmations each morning to help my get my morning and my life on the right track.  What a wonderful way to begin each day with such reinforcements as “I am healthy beyond measure”, “I am excited about all the money coming to me this week”, “I am passionate about all the love coming to me”.  Use these each day to attract the good into your life.  You have heard of the “law attraction”; use affirmations to attract all the positive good you deserve for your life!

Step 3:  Make Room for the Magic

If I keep resenting you….. How can I attract the good in my life?

Friday, June 26th, 2009

ladybugDiane, one of our coaching clients, was breaking up with her boyfriend, and because they were still living together for financial reasons, they were still involved with each other.

Diane had come to us because she knew we did a lot of work with the “law of attraction” and she wanted to focus on bringing in the “good” into her life. She was having a hard time because she resented the years she felt she had wasted with him and was just furious about it all.

We talked about how “massive abundance” and the “law of attraction” are about opening ourselves to the good that is trying to find us. And we agreed that one of the best ways to do that is to stay focused on what you want and how to, with as much love as possible, let go of the past.

Diane said that she and her friends were totally loving to each other, and that she really wanted a new and wonderful lover. But when we talked about David, her ex, she turned into a raging maniac. She described, with seething anger, how he had destroyed her life and that she simply could never forgive him. She wasn’t sleeping at nights since she was so stressed and she was losing her focus at work. She simply hated him!

When I asked her which she wanted more – goodness and joy, or anger and conflict? Of course, she said she wanted goodness and joy. She knew that MA (massive abundance) was totally about peace and happiness and that she really wanted it. Then I reminded her that it was almost impossible to attract the “good” when focusing on the “bad”. If the two of them could not live in harmony, then they needed to find a way to totally separate, as difficult as it might be.

In order to attract the “good” in your life, you must be willing to walk through the difficult times, trust that the “good” is truly trying to find you, and step into your massively abundant life!

Step 6 – Do What Prospers You!

Don’t bother trying to please anyone…

sealofapprovalYou will never gain enough approval for you to get permission to be yourself.

PEOPLE PLEASERS UNITE! It is time to stop stressing yourselves about trying to get others to like you, to love you, to accept you, to approve of you, to respect you, to honor you, and everything else that you seem to want from them. You must go in your own direction, and the appropriate people will show up. It may not be today, or tomorrow, but in it’s massively abundance time, you will attract the people who can help you get where you want to be going.

Your job is to get clear about what your purpose is for your life and what you are here to do. The more definitive you are about your vision, the more you will see who is and who isn’t a part of that picture. (Step 1 – Paint Your Passionate Picture)

So many people are stressed out because they are either trying to make others conform to their ideal, or they are busy trying to conform to someone else’s ideal. Remember, everyone has an agenda for you – even your animals!

Check out the balance sheet. When you are doing more for someone than they are doing for you, then put your foot down and claim your power. The stress of shifting into your power will be difficult at first, because others want to keep control over you and they will get angry when you stand up for yourself. But the rewards will be worth it. You will ultimately feel an energy and lightness that will move you into your abundance. This is YOUR life. Step into it!
